A Humid Day and Some Fast Times at the Autism Speaks 4 Miler

It’s the humidity.  It’s the freaking humidity.

But the Taconics did great today, despite some conditions that were a bit reminiscent of the Master’s Challenge!

Tom Delany held on to a mind blowing 5:22 to be our first finisher.  Greg Diamond crushed his race, placing first in his division with Steve Calidonna right behind him.  Tim Delaney is back and strong, placing first in his division; keeping up with our one-two punch Joe was right behind him coming in second!  A certain Taconic was right behind the two of them and thought that the group of three could finish together, not taking into account the famous Delaney kick.

What a great day.  In retrospect.  At the time it was a humid soup.  With a bunch of scantily clad runners.  Typical.
